| 0:07.8 | We got a whole squad of four here, Megan Ruto, and Giz, and of course, Eric calling in. |
| 0:14.1 | And we're doing a little bit of NHL power rankings because it's August 15th, and let's be |
| 0:18.6 | honest, what else is there at this point in the off season? |
| 0:22.0 | So I'm going to talk about some of the top 10 teams in the NHL. |
| 0:27.1 | Before we get into that, there's two things I want to discuss. |
| 0:29.8 | First of all, Gizmo. |
| 0:31.7 | Yes, sir. |
| 0:32.8 | I am well known for hating outdoor games in the NHL. |
| 0:37.0 | A bunch of them were just announced for the college kids playing at Wrigley Field. What are your thoughts on outdoor games? I liked it a little bit more when it was a little bit more niche. Sure. Right. I liked it when they didn't do a ton of them all the time. I liked it when it was, it sort of felt special. It sort of was a, you know, just every now and then kind of thing that you could look forward to. I think it started with what? Just a winter classic on New Year's Day. And I really like that. Now with the stadium series, it's a lot. It's a lot. I get what they're trying to do. The fans get a kick out of it. It's a way to get out in New Jersey's and everything like that. I think the college kids and the younger ages, and he's probably going to disagree with this, because I know Max has played in one, but it's, I think they leave something to be looked forwarded to. Leave something out there that they can get excited about later |

| 1:33.5 | I don't know. I mean, is it a lot? I feel like it's a lot. I feel like there's more every season. |
| 1:40.3 | Here's my, okay, I've thought more about this. Here's my argument for the outdoor games as they exist now. If it starts getting to be more than this, I think we'll run into a different problem. But I think the attendance and viewership still outranks a regular season game for the outdoor games. And so, though it's not as successful as it was when it was just the Winter Classic, which is the |
| 2:03.6 | best in premier outdoor game still, I think you're getting great viewership for a regular |
| 2:09.7 | season game. |
| 2:10.5 | And for the college kids, when Corsefield hosted Avs and Red Wings, D.U. and Cici got to |
| 2:16.7 | play, and I got to go see it and it was so cool. |
| 2:19.3 | For the college kids in particular, they have so few games in their season. |
| 2:23.3 | I think it's actually naturally built up to get hype around those games for the college players |
| 2:29.3 | and for the college students and it brings that fan base because you're bringing over college students who |
| 2:36.1 | might not necessarily be diehard hockey fans, but they love their school and they like the |
