So try as one might to spend our entire adult lives not giving a rat behind about what happens on college

campuses.

You just cannot consume the news nowadays.

I've tried and it doesn't work without being

smacked in the face with protest madness at universities. Tents cities

springing up everywhere students issuing demands for universities to boycott and divest from Israel,

classes disrupted, graduation ceremonies, canceled administrators and politicians either sending

in cops to clean out the tents or not

sporadic bits of violence charges and countercharges of racism and anti-Semitism

and of course politicians saying crazy, crazy things.

And everyone bringing up that historical

bogeyman of a year 1968, particularly since the Democrats

in their infinite non-wisdom have chosen Chicago to be a great place to have their nominating
