I'm your host, Josie Van Dyke, and it is Trash Day. It is a solo podcast day. And I'm going to be so for real with you. This is my second time recording it. Oh my gosh. I can't speak. Recorder. I'm having a stroke.

Recording. Recording. Oh my hell. This is my second time recording this because the first time I

recorded it was when I had just woken up from a nap because I'm going to tell you how my morning went real quick

before we get into all the trash. I got home from Indiana and Pedro had the stomach flu. Now you're

probably thinking, didn't you guys just get sick? Yes, my whole family was just sick. I have not gotten

sick. But my family has all gotten sick. I got home, Pedro had the stomach

flu, then Banks got it. Now Brooks has it. So I woke up this morning to Brooks vomiting,

and it was so sad. So I cleaned all that up, and then I just snuggled him on the couch. It was

honestly a shit show of a morning. On Wednesdays, my nanny comes. So my nanny got here and I was like, I'm going to go downstairs and I'm going to try

to record a podcast episode.

My brain was mush.

I hadn't had any caffeine for the day.

I sounded like an idiot.

If I could post and upload that recording without editing any of it, you guys would

die.

There was so many moments of silence and me going,

fuck this, because I was so tired. So I was like, no, I'm not, no, we're not doing this.

I need to go get coffee. And when I take Bentley from dance or when I pick Bentley up from school,

I'm going to get a coffee. I'm going to drop off at dance, and then I'm going to come back and we're going to do this again.

We're going to start all over because that first recording was blah.

And we don't need blah right now, okay?

Because half the country is really sad today and the other half is really happy today.
