Are Republicans showing some backbone? Speaker Mike Johnson submitted a continuing resolution to keep the government going until January. At first blush, sounds reasonable. But as always, the devil is in the details! Turns out this CR is like all the other ones -- full of pork and wasteful spending. And many House Republicans have had enough! One of those Republicans is Congressman Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin. He will vote no on this CR. But gee, Republicans, don't you care about all those who will suffer if the government shuts down?
