| 0:00.0 | Hello, my friends. Welcome back to the morning mindset. Are you ready? Are you ready to |
| 0:09.1 | get your mind aligned with the truth of God's Word today? You see, every day we need |
| 0:14.3 | this, every day we need to reset our thinking. Because overnight we kind of default back |
| 0:19.1 | to our sinful patterns of thinking and our non-Christian ways of relating to the world |
| 0:25.6 | and every morning we need to get our mind aligned again with the truth of God's Word. That's |
| 0:30.2 | what we're here to do today. Now as we begin, I want you to think about the last situation |
| 0:35.8 | you were in where you felt like you needed to justify your actions and focus in on that |
| 0:42.0 | word justify. What are we saying when we say that we're justifying our actions? Well, |

| 1:06.1 | But before we get there, I want to invite all of you parents, or those of you who may be |
| 1:09.7 | grandparents and have kids who are raising kids right now, to check out our new podcast. It's |
| 1:16.1 | called odd-fearing kids and the parents who raise them. It's an opportunity for you to apply the |
| 1:21.3 | truth of Scripture to your parenting into the way you raise your children so that you not only |
| 1:25.8 | have children who are a blessing in the world and are well-behaved in those kinds of goals, |
| 1:30.4 | but also children who are that way because their heart has been gripped by the power and majesty |
| 1:36.5 | of God himself. Check it out. You can find a link in the description for this episode to God-fearing |
| 1:41.8 | kids and the parents who raised them. Okay, back to that situation where you felt you needed to |
| 1:48.6 | justify your actions. Do you remember it? Are you there in your mind? Can you picture what it's |
| 1:54.9 | like to feel the indignation that you're being accused of something you didn't do and so you have |
| 2:00.1 | to justify yourself to the people who are listening? That is one way that we use the word justify. |
