Hello, my friends. Welcome back to the morning mindset. I hope you're ready today to get

your mind aligned with the truth of God. I want to ask you if you understand what it

means to be free from the power of sin. I think that's the ventures to all of us, don't

you? Every Romans chapter 6 is going to unpack that for us today. But before we get there,

I want to ask you to cooperate with me for just a moment in doing a little exercise

that will be a cooperative effort between you and me and the Holy Spirit. Would you stop

for just a moment and prayerfully ask the Spirit of God, who do you know, who get benefit

from the blessing that you're receiving for the morning mindset? Who could receive the

same kind of encouragement, same kind of support that you're receiving by listening? Pause

this episode right now and tell that person. Use a text, use a phone call, use an email,

tell them about the morning mindset. You can use the sharing function on your podcast

app to share episodes with people as well. I would encourage you to do that because you

can make a difference, an eternal difference in the lives of others by sharing what God's

word has done for you. All right, let's get back to this topic of being free from sin's

power. I know when I first say that, we can feel a lot of pushback against that concept.

We can say, well, wait a minute, wait a minute. I'm tempted all the time. And I give in quite

often to that temptation. I don't really feel like I'm free from sin's power. Well, friends,

the scriptures teach us realities that we don't necessarily feel and we don't always

experience, but are nevertheless true. In fact, there are things like this in the physical

realm that we experience all the time. Let me give you an example. Right now, no matter

where you are in the planet or what you're doing, you are surrounded by what we call air.

It's oxygen and CO2. It's all these gases mixed together and it's surrounding your body
