Hello, my friends, and welcome back to the morning mindset.

I hope you're ready to get your mind aligned with the truth of God's Word today.

We are continuing our series in the book of Ephesians right now, focusing on what happened

when we placed our faith in Jesus Christ.

So when you were saved, what happened to you, what happened for you, what happened in

you?

Great Ephesians chapter 2, verse 19, is where we're going to dig in today.

And Paul has been describing all kinds of amazing things that come about in our lives by virtue

of our faith in Jesus.

And he says here in verse 19, so then, you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you

are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.

There are some incredible things in here.

You may notice the title of this episode, when you were saved, God made you part of his

household.

That's really what I want to focus on, even though there's a lot here.

Let's just walk through it real briefly.

You're no longer strangers and aliens.

Now, he's using those terms, not in terms of how to space aliens.

He means aliens to God's kingdom, aliens to God's family and God's way of doing things.

Friends, before we knew Christ and our sins were forgiven, we were strangers to God's

ways.

And the aliens to his kingdom and to citizenship in it.
