Hello my name is Carrie Green. I am here to help you get your mind aligned

with the truth of God's word. That's what we're all about here on the morning and

says, so welcome I'm glad you're here. Hey can you remember the last time maybe at

work or in school you were vying for some kind of promotion or position and someone else got it and you didn't.

How did you feel then? Were you angry? Were you jealous? Let's be honest here were you resentful that they got it and

you didn't and you just kept wanting it you kept wishing something would

happen where you could get that thing or that position.

Friends, that's the topic we're going to be looking at today.

That's a very serious subject that the Apostle Paul addresses

in Ephesians chapter 5, verse number 3.

So get out your Bible, your journal, whatever you're using.

We're going to dig into this issue of co-tivaciousness today

on the morning mindset.

Our dear father, in the name of Jesus, we come to you when we ask you to give us insight and

direction as we read Ephesions 53 and seek to understand this issue of covetiousness, Lord. We ask it in Jesus

name, Amen. Now I want to say right up front, this word covetousness or coveting is not a word we hear a lot in our day and I think we're worse off for it

because it's a very grievous sin and we're going to get into why that is in a moment that seems to be very prevalent
