also known as Annie Eleni, an American YouTuber, artist, and activist for LGBT and disability rights.

Segara, who is queer, Latinx, and disabled, advocates for accessibility,

body positivity, and media representation of marginalized communities.

I'm so excited for what we're going to talk about today.

Oh, me too, because you and I often find ourselves venting about these things. And every time I see you posting on Instagram and just you are a well of knowledge. And so I've

learned so much from you and me being a newly chronically ill individual have have just learned a lot

from you. And so I appreciate that. And I'm sure so many other

people have also because it's not talked about often. Also, because it's not really seen in

mainstream media. Yeah. Oh my gosh. You and I were talking about it before. Something that I

advocated a lot about, right, is being an ambulatory wheelchair user.

So for those who don't know me, don't know about like my condition, my disabilities, I have Ellers-Danlo's syndrome, which is a genetic connective tissue disorder.

It affects a lot of my body, my joints, my skin, my blood vessels,

and my internal organs. And where I lie on the spectrum of Ellers-Danlo's syndrome, I use a wheelchair

for long distances and I use a cane for shorter distances and I'm sometimes able to walk without any assistance at all,

but it'll be for very, very short bursts of time. And this is something that a lot of people find

confusing. So I had to create a whole campaign about it called ambulatory wheelchair users exist
