I'm so excited to be sitting down with Christina and Carmen today. Can the two of you just introduce

yourselves? We can start with Carmen and just let me know how you got introduced to the IFB movement

and like around what period, how you got involved and what those initial experiences were like.

Yeah, my name is Carmen. We, um, our family wasn't really born into the IFB.

We were, we just kind of were raised to regular Baptist.

So I wasn't introduced into the IFB until maybe I was about 12.

Okay.

And we went, my mom visited in the IFB church.

She actually went for a friend of hers.

And her initial reaction was she didn't actually like it.
