Do you, if you pause and think about it, ever have this feeling or this low level belief that on some level you might be failing. Maybe you're failing all the time

in your eyes based on your expectation of where your life should be and where you should be

and how exactly it should be unfolding. I was having this conversation with a friend of mine who's had a

really interesting career. She's done lots of different things, kind of like me. We've done

lots of different types of work. She works for herself now. And what's interesting is she's pursued

her passion. Her passion, business, is successful. She's doing well with it.

It's set to expand if she wants it to expand. But what's so interesting is that she works,

she's an artist. She's very, very private, but she's an artist. Her work is selling, and she comes

to a corporate background, and she was side hustling as an artist for a while. And now that

she's doing it full time, and yes, it is successful by society's definition, she doesn't like it. She's like, I thought this would be

different. I thought I would love it. I would thought I couldn't wait to go to my studio. I thought I

would just be living in bliss. But she's not enjoying creating, you know, custom work, commissioned work

for other people. And her and I had this conversation

around, yeah, you know, the tension almost that exists with every new step and stage that we have.

And as we were talking, I said, look, you know, we're talking about our career histories

and how we've both done a lot.

I said, you know, I started as a recruiter.

I loved it.

And I did that for two or three years successfully before moving into the tech sector.

I loved that for a while.

And we were sharing, you know, all of our different salaries,k 35k 45k 40k 60k 100 135 right I mean
