0:00.0	Well, Hello, Pod Squad. Welcome back to We Can Do Hard Things. It is officially summer, summer, summer time. And that means that many of us might be going on little trips.
0:17.0	We hesitate to call them vacations because of our people are with us.
0:21.0	They're more like trips than vacations, but they are special nonetheless.
0:27.6	And we are out there trying to create beautiful moments with our people and our families.
0:33.6	And here's the thing, a question that I often ask myself
0:39.1	and I feel like the people who are my friends ask themselves is this why the hell are there no
0:48.1	pictures of us like for example if I died would my kids be like did I have a mom? I don't know did I have one because
0:58.2	There are no pictures of her. It appears that there are two kids and a father.
1:02.8	So here's what I want to say.
1:05.3	We need to talk about this, this phenomenon of
1:09.3	being the seers of the magic and the creators of the magic, but not having any evidence of us actually
1:17.9	being part of the magic. Or maybe that's just me. But in honor of the trips, in honor of the summer memories,
1:28.6	here is an episode that is very dear to me called Why the hell are there no pictures of us.
1:34.0	It seems surface and silly and occasionally petty to talk about this but I think it's also
1:39.0	a lot deeper in terms of like do you see me am I invisible do you see me in this
1:49.4	magic I'm trying to make and why wouldn't you see it as magic and worthy of being captured and
