Why do you need to spend time alone with the Lord? Here's Evelyn Christensen.

You're giving out to your mate, your job, your children, whatever it is, your house,

you're giving out all the time. But that time alone with God is when God and you just,

he replenishes my bankruptcy and not spiritual as much as, well, it is

sometimes, but then it's your emotional, my emotional bankruptcy that he just feels.

And no human being can do this.

Evelyn was the author of the best-selling book, What Happens When Women Pray?

Evelyn went home to be with the Lord several years ago, but she left behind a clear, strong

Now, yesterday, Evelyn shared with us how a small group of women in her church, just three in number, banded together, thinking that they were going to be praying for revival in the church.

But as they prayed for what they called six miserable weeks, God first required that they

search their own hearts and allow him to expose the sins and the pride that were in their own lives.

And not until they had been through that process, did God release those women to begin

praying for His will to be done in that church? What happened next is something that can only

be explained by the supernatural presence and power of God. Here's Evelyn Christensen.

We were released to pray for the church. It was the very next Sunday after we finished, my husband who always gave some kind of an invitation at the end,

he started giving the benediction.
