Evelyn Christensen's brother was far from the Lord, and for 30 years, Evelyn's mom prayed for him.

Finally, my mother prayed a prayer. That's a very hard one to pray. Lord, do anything you have to do,

to my son, to bring you to Jesus.

If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their

land.

That's a promise God gave to his children in the Old Testament in 2 Chronicles chapter 7 verse 14.

And it's a call to God's people today who are called by his name to humble ourselves,

to pray, to seek his face, and to turn from our wicked ways.

Friday evening, September 23rd, at a national prayer event for women that we're calling

cry out. I'll be joining about 6,000 women in Indianapolis, but will also be joined by thousands

of groups of women across the country and around the world who

be praying that evening with us with one voice and one cry. I hope that you'll plan to be
