So what do you want to be? Growing up, we all hear that question all the time.

Hey, when you grow up, what do you want to be?

So I want to know what do you want to be.

Those of you online, just go into the chat, type in what you want to be.

Those of you at one of our Life Church locations, just turn to your neighbor right now and tell them,

growing up, here's what I wanted to be.

Go for it. So I heard a teacher, maybe a fireman.

I remember a few years ago, my son Jack was probably four or five years old and this is what

Jack looked like when he was four or five years old still has those blue eyes over

there he walked into the kitchen one day my wife Katie and I were talking and he just announced, we didn't even ask, he just announced when I grow up I want to be an entomologist.

And I was like, bro, that is awesome. And I was like, what makes you want to be an

entomologist? And he said, well, three reasons. And this is very Jack. Three reasons.

He said, number one, it'd be fun. Number two, it'd be interesting. And number three, it'd be a great career to go into.

And I was like, well, dude, you got it figured out.

And so I asked him some more questions about it, and then at the end, wanting to be the encouraging dad that I'm trying to be I just

wanted to talk him up a little bit I was like hey man I think you'll be a great

entomologist in fact if you work hard and put your mind to it I have no doubt

that you'll be a great

entomologist when you grow up. He turns around triumphantly, marches out of the

kitchen, at which point my wife turns to me without skipping a beat and she
