0:11.6	So this particular email is from a viewer who started hooking up with a hot girl from work.
0:16.4	She came on to him, she gave him or got his phone number, was doing all the pursuing.
0:22.1	They were like hot and heavy for a couple of months.
0:24.3	This is the experience that most men have.
0:27.1	And they think, wow, this is my future ex-wife, my future ex-girlfriend, this is awesome.
0:32.3	But then, especially when they start to get really emotionally engaged and really like the girl,
0:38.7	then she starts back in a way.
0:40.0	And most guys don't know what to do.
0:42.4	When that happens, they start trying to have serious talks and we do the talk and trying to figure out
0:49.3	or use logic and reason to get her to be as attracted as she was in the past.
0:54.5	And so what most men don't understand as women are kind of like cats in that regard.
0:58.8	When they spend a lot of time with you and they get really sure of themselves
1:03.1	and where they stand with you, especially if you overinvest and over-communicate your interest,
1:08.8	or you're focused more on how much you like her,
1:11.9	and you're ignoring the fact she's not as into you as she was,
1:15.5	the quickest way to get somebody else's attention is to remove yours.
1:18.8	And so, as the book says, you want to match and mirror that behavior,
1:22.7	because this is to be expected.
