0:32.6	Today we're gonna wrap up our year-long series in the Torah
0:35.4	and we're gonna say goodbye to Moses
0:37.2	and we're gonna talk about what no feels like
0:40.2	and how God desires to seep hope into the deepest crevices of our lives,
0:45.0	even if the answer is no.
0:48.0	Now at the end of the Torah, Moses' death was imminent and God took him up to the top of Mount Nebo to this place called
0:54.2	Piska so that he could look in all directions and have a view of the land that God was going to
0:59.2	give the Israelites.
1:01.3	But Moses couldn't go over into the promised land because of his sin at the rock of Kedesh.
1:07.2	How Moses had pleaded with the Lord to change his mind, but the answer was no.
1:13.0	At the top of that mountain, the Lord said to Moses,
1:16.0	this is the land, I'm going to give it just as I promised,
1:20.0	but you shall not go over there.
1:22.0	Now this was a big no. but you shall not go over there.
1:23.4	Now this was a big no, but it wasn't really the first Moses had experienced.
1:29.6	He was pretty familiar with no.
