I knew the Lord had a plan. And of course, as humans, we want to rush that. I think now, like,

if I would have done that, what would my life look like? You know, what was he protecting me from?

If the promise is an idol, some of us never take our eyes off the promise. And we're not as prepared

to inherit that promise, to receive it and to steward it, as opposed to, this is over here,

and I'm going to work on me and let the Lord work on me the entire time. But I know without a doubt,

he has already used me, and he's going to continue to do that. I think we just can't look past

the ways that the Lord wants to do things in us all because we have our mind made up.

There's something he wanted to do and he's been wanting to do it since the foundations of the

earth. He will do it. The question is, will you see it? What's up everybody? Welcome back to the Leaders Cut. And today we've got a very special conversation with a very special friend, someone who's like my sister. But we're talking about today when things don't go as planned. I don't know if you've ever experienced this in your walk with Jesus,

but if you haven't, you will and just know the rest of us have and are. Because when he says,

my ways are not like your ways, my thoughts are not like your thoughts they're higher than your thoughts you learn very

quickly as you follow jesus that pretty much nothing goes as you planned and that's one of the

ways you know you're doing it right in the ongoing work of sanctification which the holy

spirit does in our life so let's pray i'll introduce you to my sister here and we're

going to have a really great conversation. Holy Spirit, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you,

thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for letting me get to sit in on

conversations like this. Thank you for every person joining this conversation.

These are such special and rich moments where you just love on some who are hurting and frustrated or feel broken or angry or embarrassed or behind or losing or confused all the things would you holy spirit just minister to each one we yield ourselves to you knowing that there will probably be a few moments in this conversation

where you step on our toes. We invite you to do so. There's a way, which seems right into

man, but in the end, it leads to death. Holy Spirit, step on our toes. Step our plans in any area of our life where we are planning something

which you are not desiring holy spirit during this episode would you reveal it we'll do

whatever you ask us to do we yield ourselves to you and ask you to cut on our flesh
