Some people get angry, others get depressed,

But what if Psalm 69 shows us another way

Psalm 69 starts with David praying for God to save him.

Save me, oh God, for the waters have come up to my neck.

I sink in the myry depths where there is no foothold.

I have come into the deep waters, the floods engulf me.

King David is calling out for rescue, and he uses figurative language to describe a situation.

We say he's just keeping his head above the water.

It's pretty clear that he's overwhelmed, but there's probably more to it than that.
