So if you have a Bible, let's go to Romans chapter five today. Romans chapter five. I want to talk to you from

this thought today, what to do when the storm will not stop. So many of us are familiar with

the story of Jesus where he speaks to the storm and he tells it to be still and

the storm stops. But there are stories in the Bible where he doesn't speak to the storm.

And the only thing that ends the storm is the end of the storm. And I wonder if there are some

people maybe in the room today, maybe watching online,

who are going through something that feels like it is never going to end.

And I want to talk to you today about what to do when you're in the middle of something that will not seem to stop.

Romans chapter 5 verses 1 through 5.

This is therefore, since we have been justified

through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained

access by faith into this grace in which we now stand, and we boast in the hope of the glory of God.

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings because we know that suffering produces perseverance,

perseverance character, and character, hope.

And hope does not put us to shame because God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Let's pray. Father, we thank you for your word. We ask over these moments that we have together

that you would speak something so clear to us that it would transform us and change us from the

inside out. We want to leave this place different than how we came in.
