Take your Bibles, turn to John chapter 16, and in just a moment we're going to begin reading in verse 7.

intellectual pride in the dust and let God the Holy Spirit speak to you about these three tremendous

truths. Now folks, truth is so very, very important. We have some who have cowardice, they are afraid of the truth. We have some

with laziness, they accept half-truth. We have some with arrogance. They think they know all

truth. I pray God that you'll have humility today and ask God the Holy Spirit to speak to you the truth.

Now here are these three tremendous truths.

Beginning of verse 7,

Jesus is talking about his going to heaven

and the Holy Spirit coming to earth.

And he says, nevertheless, I tell you the truth,

it is expedient for you.

Now, boys and girls, that means it is better for you, necessary for you, that I go away. For if I go not away, the comfortoor will not come unto you. But if I depart, I will send him unto you. Now the word comfortoor is the word that means paraclete or advocate or lawyer, somebody who comes alongside of you to take care of you. Jesus said, I'm going to
