This is truly one of my favorite narrations and especially fits the theme of speaking about knowing

the Prophet's life and meeting the Prophet's life and visualizing the Prophet's life and seeing

yourself as a companion of the Messenger of Allah. So the narration is in Abu Khari and it's

narrated in several different authentic Ahadith about the same incident but this one is my favorite

because the way that it starts off. It's narrated by Abu Salama ibn Abd Rahman. Abu Salama ibn

Abd Rahman, Rahim Allah ta'ala wa radiya Allahu anhu, says that i asked Abu Saeed al-Hudri,

radiya Allahu ta'ala al-anhu, can you come and walk with us so that we can speak to you and ask you

some questions about the Prophet ﷺ. Now why is this so beautiful? First and foremost, does anyone

know who Abu Salama ibn Abd Rahman is? Who do you think Abd Rahman is? He's a tabiri. Abu Salama ibn

Abd Rahman ibn, who's the most famous Abd Rahman from the Sahaba? All right, now making it too

easy for you guys. Abd Rahman ibn Aouf, radiya Allahu ta'ala al-anhu, so this is Abu Salama ibn

Abd Rahman ibn Aouf. One of the 10 Promise Paradise, Abd Rahman ibn Aouf, radiya Allahu ta'ala al-anhu,

Abu Salama his son was one of the seven Fukah of Medina, one of the seven jurists of Medina

from the tabiri, a great scholar from the tabiri, and Abu Salama narrated from many of the

Sahaba of the Prophet's life, not just his father. So we often find that some of the Sahaba

had children and those children of course tabiri would narrate from their parents and then a

limited circle. Abu Salama ibn Abd Rahman went to multiple companions of the Prophet's life and

became actual students of the companions. So he goes to Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, radiya Allahu

ta'ala al-anhu, a noble companion of the Prophet's life son and they are all noble but one of the

most elevated companions and he said can we walk and talk. So he and Abu Sa'id start to walk in a
