We're about to get deep into Christology, pretty deep on the topic of Jesus, the God man.

This is deeper than you typically go on Sunday mornings.

Here we are in Hebrews chapter 1, verses 2 through 4.

This passage is deeply Christological.

It's in your face Christology, but it's also surprisingly nuanced.

So that is it hits really hard, but it hits with precision giving us

like the nature of Jesus as he relates also to the Father. It's very interesting stuff,

awesome stuff. And this is going to be a real Bible study. For those of you that aren't familiar

with getting that kind of thing on the internet, this is going to be an actual Bible study

for people who want to be stretched,

people who want to go deeper into scripture, understand it more carefully, who can read

a passage before and then after the study and go, wow, I really understand this in a deeper

aware that this passage also brings up the issue of a Catholic book in the Apocrypha, the Old

Testament of the Catholic Church, how they have all these extra books that are not in the

Protestant or Jewish Bibles.

And this passage right here alludes to the wisdom of Solomon, not Proverbs, no, no, a book called

The Wisdom of Solomon. And it talks about the Jewish concept of wisdom in that book.

And this passage alludes to Jesus in words that are reminiscent of wisdom in the wisdom of Solomon.

And so some people say that means we should, you know, canonize the wisdom of Solomon,
