Hey Jason Hey Star Wars fans you upset the table. Oh, setting the table. Yeah. I'm I'm setting the table. Eat the meal and then I'm cleaning up the dishes. That is what you do. That is what you do.

What we're doing here this week is something kind of it's actually out of necessity because Jason you had had limited availability to the podcast this week unfortunately.

Yes, I have. Our family had some bad luck. I guess it depends on how you say I know how you look at it.

So my grandmother passed away just a couple of days ago and it was not an unexpected passing. She was 95 years old and really up until the last.

Oh four or five years she'd really been in an excellent shape and but you know as what happens.

As you get older you know you have one too many birthdays and it starts to really catch up to you.

But she really was in every way the matriarch of of the family she was the glue that that kept everyone together there were there were four children there were ten grandkids there are twelve great grandkids there are three great great grandkids so it is a big family and at the at the top of the of the pyramid was was granny.

And it also is especially difficult loss for me because I was raised by my grandmother so from about the time I was two and a half up through into my teenage years I lived with my grandma grandpa and so they were really my mom and dad in that sense when you're in those formative years so it's a little bit deeper cut than just losing a grandparent though you know not to take anything away from anyone's relationship with their grandparents.

But it is a little bit a little bit different so she I know she's in a much better place and I'm happy to say that she died very peacefully certainly the way I would like to go.

But it still is it's it's tough because especially when someone has been around that long your whole life you start to think that they're just going to be there forever.
