Well, this one's got all the classics. A bit of mystery, a little love lost, and of course,

a whole lot of things that go

bump in the night. I'm Tony Bruske, and today's story is about one of those houses that seems

to cling to people. Now, I've got to say, not everyone who buys a house expects a haunting

as part of the package deal. This family bought the place from a sweet old lady who

bless her heart really loved the house, thought she'd found the perfect owners to take care of it.

She passed on shortly after, but not before leaving behind a little more than the furniture.

And what follows? Well, it's one part mystery, one part nightmare, and entirely too

much to ignore. But here's the thing that really gets me. At first, it's all pretty tame, a light that

flickers here, a clock that resets there. Even the family's mom thought it was kind of

cute, like the old lady was hanging around to lend a hand every now and then. But as you'll see,

things started taking a turn when the family's dad, let's just say, couldn't leave well enough alone.

You ever heard the phrase, don't poke the bear?

Well, this guy practically invited the bear over for dinner, and that's when it got weird.

The question is, what happens when you call something out and it answers?

Because whatever was lingering in this house, it listened.

And it showed up, too, the things these folks started seeing and the way it seemed to know exactly how to get under their skin makes you wonder if this is really just some
