But this episode is fantastic.

Our guest is Chris Klein. It's about these Irish immigrants in the United States who come together

to invade Canada just after the Civil War to try to press their issues for Irish independence.

I don't want to tell you the whole story here because it's just kind of mind-blowing.

But I had always wanted to re-air it, but every time I went back to it, the audio quality was kind of rough. This was 2019, about a year before everybody suddenly needed to be online recording these things all the time. So we recorded it over the phone. It might be the last one we ever did that with. I can't remember. But it had all these glitches, and having done this podcast for eight years now, this stuff affects me. So I just never re-aired it. But now,

thanks to the help of Adobe's AI software, which does an incredible job, it restored this audio

quality to a level I didn't think was even possible. So this right here is a complete re-edit of that. I spent a couple hours on this because I thought it was well worth it. And I think that if you listen, you will agree. And man, Andrew Johnson being worst president, in my opinion, is on full display in this episode as well. So we hope you enjoy it.
