How to pursue the Holy Spirit and what to do if the Holy Spirit's presence departs from your life.

You have to do the following six things if you sense the spirits of God has withdrawn from you. Now you may say, but I can lose the Holy Spirit.

The Bible says when we grieve the Holy Spirit we are sealed by Him.

So when we grieve the Spirit, we don't necessarily lose the spirit, but we can lose the sweetness, the intimacy and the fellowship with him.

His precious oil can't just leak out. You can still have the gift but not have the anointing.

You can have the talent but not have the oil.

Like Samson, you can still have the call of God on your life.

But the Bible says, and the spirit of God departed from Samson.

Now Samson wasn't born again like we are. Samson's body was in the temple of the Holy Spirit so we can't apply everything from that era

of how people walked with God. But there are principles that we have to heed to

to not find ourselves in a similar situation where we have the calling, but we don't have the anointing,

where we have the purpose, but we don't have that power. We don't have that sweet connection,

that closeness with the Holy Spirit. It's possible to be like Mary and Joseph and assume that Jesus is with you

and find yourself being so far away from the Lord.

It's possible to be like the Church of Ephesus

and be known for good works but lose the first love.

It's possible to be like Saul, who the Bible says the Spirit of God left him.

When the Spirit comes, he comes loudly.

There's evidence, almost instantly.

He comes like a wind, he comes like fire.
