Summary

It is primary day in Nevada; however, the contest won't count toward deciding the Republican nominee. The state's GOP leaders decided to instead award its delegates in caucuses being held Thursday. Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley will appear on the state's primary ballot today but is essentially forfeiting Thursday's contest to former President Donald Trump. If you're confused, you're not alone. Pollster and President of Maslansky and Partners, Lee Carter, joins the Rundown to explain what's happening in Nevada and breaks down the state of the 2024 presidential election. In recent years, sports betting has become a billion-dollar industry throughout the country, as more and more states make the move to legalize the use of mobile apps to place wagers on sporting events. With accessibility on the rise, so is the number of gambling addicts, with new research showing more than half of college aged adults having placed bets on mobile apps. Recovering gambling addict, and internationally certified gambling counselor Harry Levant joins to share how his addiction nearly drove him to take his own life, discuss the flaws in the industry and why they fail to protect the consumer, and what he would like to see done to regulate sportsbooks. Plus, commentary from Vice President & General Counsel at Net Choice Carl Szabo. (Image: John Locher Via AP) Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
