It's hard to miss the irony and Paul's letter to the Ephesians.

He wrote this emotion-filled letter while chained to a Roman guard explaining to his Christian friends about how we can be free from our captor, the devil, who will chain us to sin and to death.

When he gets to the sixth chapter of his letter Paul delivers his quintessential message on defeating the enemy.

It's a lesson on spiritual warfare that is protected Christians for generations as they learn to put on the full armor of God.
