First founded by starving pilgrims and slaves, refugees and immigrants crying out to God for

deliverance, this nation was pitched like a tent by men and women struggling

die and save the world.

But this land became strong despite it all by God's grace and by the

the sacrifice of farm boys crawling up foreign beaches and the sweat of their

fathers, tilling soil and feeding beef.

American boys tamed the sky and walked in space. We touched the world with our Navy, our love of sports and stories, underdogs and barbecue. And now, we touch it all with our rot. The greatest nation in history has been laid low by one simple evil.
