Hello, people.

0:09.6

Welcome to The Librarians in the New York Public Libraries podcast about books, culture, sometimes, and what to read next all the time.

0:19.2

I'm Frank.

0:20.6

And I'm Rhonda. And here we are, and another episode of The Librarian is in. How are you, Rhonda? I am doing pretty good. You know, things are like I mentioned last time, beginning to open back up in New York City. So, you know, I wonder how much longer we'll actually have to do this apart from each other,

0:37.7

maybe a little while longer, but, you know, things are beginning to look up.

0:41.8

1:37.3

I want to gauge all that stuff.

1:40.3

And sometimes I think about when I do the podcast, I'm like sitting by myself just pontificating

1:45.6

and orating about what I just read.

1:49.1

I know.

1:50.2

I feel like we've done pretty good, though, getting used to this new format, but, you know,

1:54.3

it's not the same as when we're in the same room face to face.

1:58.9

I hear what you're saying.
