Travis Live show here on Career of Live. Very excited to be in your ears right now. And today's

0:13.2

a micro show about a very important topic. I would say it is probably the fastest emerging topic in my life.

0:23.9

And it's had the biggest impact on my life in the last, I would say, five years.

0:30.8

And right now, if you're not saying, whoa, I need to pay attention, then I don't know what's going on.

0:37.9

I don't take this lightly, and I truly believe that what I'm about to share will at least give you a primer into a point of view that can help transform not just your creativity.

0:52.3

That is the focus of the show, but I believe it can help you

0:56.4

transform your life. And right now you might be saying, well, okay, get to the punchline. What is it?

Now, mindfulness, I'll get into a little bit of the sort of the vernacular and how you can put

1:56.6

it to use in just a second, but I believe it's a misunderstood term and or concept. And hopefully you've

2:05.2

been seeing it in pop culture as it is rightly getting more attention in the last several years.

2:12.5

And again, I would say for good reason, because it is a superpower.

2:21.8

Much like what you probably learned or have heard about meditation, that it sort of underpins the every aspect of our day to day.

2:27.8

I think mindfulness is a larger part of that footprint and can be transformative.

2:37.0

So I received a question online and I've adapted it a little bit, but I thought it was a good primer or a good way into the material.

2:50.0

And the question was, hey Chase, how did your focus and our perspective on mindfulness

2:54.6

change over your career and specifically how has that impacted your creativity?

2:59.6

So if we use that as the in-road, I made a handful of notes here and I'm just going to walk through each.
