0:00.0	So something that I've been really thinking about recently is the fact that you have to learn to discipline your disappointments.
0:06.5	So at any point in the journey to our purpose, our dream, or the vision that God's giving us,
0:11.2	when we come across a moment of failure, we can't allow us to have
0:14.6	final say over our life.
0:16.7	When we come across a point of resistance in our life, sometimes we have a tendency to fold,
0:21.8	throw on the towel, and not stay committed to our plan.
0:25.0	But something I actually heard this past weekend is the fact that we can never allow the journey to change our destination.
0:31.0	When we feel discouraged, disappointed, or even overwhelmed in life, we can never allow this to take us off the path that God has us on.
0:38.0	So that's what I really want to talk about in today's episode is essentially this being centered around the journey
0:45.0	between the prophecy and the promise.
0:48.1	When God gives us a vision and we now have to face a reality that looks nothing like it until
0:52.3	we get there, what is that in between look like of all the
0:55.8	stumbling blocks, the obstacles, feeling we're not going to make it, not knowing how, and looking in the face of all these
1:02.0	insurmountable odds, like how do we continue to put our trust and God, stay committed to our plan, even in our disappointment when we feel stuck back into a corner or when we're just missing the mark of where we feel we should be at.
1:13.0	That's something that me and Jordan have been going through and talking about ourselves personally.
1:18.0	We actually heard a message this past Sunday at church that just confirmed that and added more language for us to kind of deal with what we've been processing personally.
