We see it happening in the world around us.

And Lord, if my brothers and sisters in here feel anything like I do,

they feel some angst about it.

We feel Lord that so much evil is being perpetuated.

And Lord, we want you to deal with it.

And I think of the question that I hear people ask.

If God is loving, then why does He allow evil?

Well, the answer is He doesn't allow evil.

And every sinful act will be judged.

And so Lord, as we look at this message tonight,

may we prepare our hearts to meet you at any moment.

We surrender this time to you in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

So tonight we'll be looking at a few verses here in Matthew chapter 24.

And what we're actually going to do is go back to learn about the future.

We're going to go back to learn about the future from where we sit today

and learn what we can see approaching us in the culture around us.

Now in the Bible or in a Bible of roughly 1300 pages,

about 260 of those pages contain what's called predictive prophecy.

This is one of the amazing ways that we know that the Bible is true.

And now I got this and I quote by one count about 27% of the Bible is predictive.

The Encyclopedia of Biblical Prophecy Baker Publishing Group says this means
