Amen. Amen. Good morning and welcome. You can be seated. I want to welcome those of you that are joining us online as well. We're so very glad that you are. Before we get started, though, I want to provide you with a brief update on our ongoing Maui missions support, which for today is going to actually be more of a

plea of sorts. And by that I mean, first and foremost, it's a plea to please continue to pray for the

people of Lahaina as what's happened on Maui is

seemingly fading into the backdrop of obscurity seemingly with each passing day as it always does.

But what's really sad is that there are those on Maui that are still really suffering.

And in some ways it's even worse now than it was right after it happened.

And the reason it is is because the reality and the intensity of what happened is beginning to now settle in.

It's been over two months and, you know, right after something like that happens, there's a shock,

there's a denial, kind of a stage that you go through. It's so surreal. And then as time goes on, it just begins to sink in.

You start realizing, wow, did this really just happen? And you're reminded of that every day

that you wake up in that situation, which is what they do.

Pastor Steve Santos will share with me about how that, you know, as pastors, we take people into the mission field on short-term mission trips.

Well, now he lives in the mission field every day, day in and day out.

And then add to this the devastating loss of literally everything

for those in Lahaina. And many of whom are faced with some very serious decisions as to

whether or not to even stay on the island, even now some have already left, never to return.

Now, please know that we are committed long-term to financially support those with the greatest needs of which there are and does remain many that do have many needs.

We have been, even now are and will certainly continue to support Pastor Steve Santos

as we come alongside Calvary Chapel West Side there in Lahaina.

As a church, we're doing everything we can to help our Maui brothers and sisters
