This is Before the Noise. My name is Chan Prather. If you're new here and you don't know, these are my devotional thoughts. You guys sit in with me. We work through the scripture. We work through the Bible.

And this is a devotional time for Christians. And if you're not a Christian, hey, welcome. Join the

conversation. We'd love to talk to you as well. And I feel this morning kind of weird. I don't know.

It's, I pray about things in the morning before we get started. And we've always got a lot of moving parts here. I don't know. It's, it's, uh, you pray about things in the morning before we get started and we've always got a lot of moving parts here, trying to get all the buttons push and everything charged to back up. But, uh, I feel like some of you might be carrying a little weight this morning, carrying a little heaviness. Uh, there's a spiritual attack going on. I have no doubt about it. I have sensed a number of things, just even over the weekend, and it's getting hotter and hotter.

The rhetoric is getting hotter. There's more and more just unashamed vitriol that's out there.

And I hope you guys can unplug from that long enough to find your,

get back in alignment with what God's wanting to do in our lives. That's what we got to do.

We got to come back to Christ, come back to Jesus and say, okay, Holy Spirit, I need you to help settle me

so that I don't get lost from the mission that you have me on,

the calling that you have for my life because of distractions that come from the world out there.

Again, I've told you many, many times, Satan doesn't have to destroy you.

All he has to do is distract you.

And the distraction comes when the drift comes. You start

drifting off center. You drift off anchor and suddenly life starts to spiral a little bit. You get

off center. It's like getting on the gravitron at the fair. All of a sudden, that thing's swinging

around everywhere. And you're just kind of stuck to the wall because it's thrown you out to the

periphery of stuff. You just kind of get lost in wall because it's thrown you out to the periphery of stuff.

You just kind of get lost in entropy of things in motion so fast you can't keep up with them.
