And I thought it was the end of the day for newscast, so we recorded. We who are being looked into by the gambling commission over those allegations that they

bet on the date of the surprise election. The Conservatives, some people say belay-tilly, taking action

to withdraw support from them. Then we recorded the bumper

crossover episode that we promised you where it's me, Amel Rajan from the Today

podcast and David and Simon from when it hits the fan the radio 4 PR

podcast talking about how the media covered the election and I thought oh that's

quite enough for one day but the news has not stopped as I'm recording this

labor has just in its words administratively suspended one of their

candidates after the gambling commission decided to look into them the candidate is Kevin Craig and the the said with Kirstormer's leader the Labour Party uphold

up holds the highest standards for our parliamentary candidates as the public

rightly expects from any party hoping to serve which is why we have acted

immediately in this case the BBC's tried to get in touch with Mr Craig, but not had any

luck so far. So that's a story that's developing in a different political direction from the

one it has been developing in until now.
