As we walk through the lives of the men and women of faith recorded for us in Hebrews chapter number 11,

one of the things that jumps out is that their life

always ends in their death. That's true of everyone in scripture outside of Enick who walked with God,

and He was not for God took him. And Elijah who's caught away with a chariot of fire. Both of those men

really represent the generation that will be alive when

our Lord returns and are raptured out. But if the Lord Terry's is coming, all of us have an

inevitable meeting with Almighty God. In fact, just a couple of chapters previous to Hebrews

chapter number 11, in Hebrews chapter 9 verse 27, we read that it is appointed unto men once to die and after

this the judgment.

One of the earliest revelations given to us in the book of Genesis is that the soul that

sinneth, it shall surely die.

When you come to Genesis chapter number five, you walk through the family cemetery of

those early generations.

It records the length of their life and then the end of their life with these words,

and he died, and he died, and he died, and and he died and he died.

Why is that?

Because death comes to all of us.

And frankly, when the time comes to die, some things just don't matter.
