Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. My name is Tatum Tamiya. I'm the host of the

0:11.0

Blessed and Blessed podcast and a CEO of Anchor Media. In this video, we're going to be talking

0:15.7

about when is the right time to hire 18? Now, here's what I want you to consider first

0:21.7

when you're thinking about hiring for your company, whether it's interns, contractors,

0:26.4

employees, whatever format. Here's what I want you to think about first. Is your house

0:32.0

in order for you to have company? Okay. Before you have a family or a friend come and stay

0:39.5

with you, you get things clean, you get it organized, you want it to be easy for them to

0:43.6

find stuff. You want to make sure they have everything that they need. You want them to

be comfortable and peaceful. You want your home to be peaceful and not chaotic. Same thing

0:57.4

not chaotic, right? It's your job as the executive of your company to build a business that

of when I first started hiring for my business. I was trying to decide, do I want to do

1:20.1

the assistant route as like my first big hire because at first I did go the assistant route

1:26.0

on like a part-time contractor type of basis. That was cool. I was able to get more done,

1:32.0

but it was contributing to the bottom line, but it was taking way too much time for the money

1:39.2

to be made that based off of what I was spending for that hire. Then especially when it comes

1:45.1

to people in like assistant positions, it's very hard to give people who want to serve

1:51.2

and who serve your vision and whatever it is that you have going on well. It's difficult

1:55.8

because a lot of times especially now everybody wants to be an entrepreneur. Some people just

2:00.4

are not good employees or they are excited about the opportunity that when that excitement
