One of the reasons I joined the Lincoln

project is that to defeat this authoritarian movement we're up against, we have to

put petty politics aside and come together. We're up against a very unified top-down machine.

So to beat them we can't have ridiculous purity tests or squabble about minor details or even you know I look forward to the days when we can

have a debate about marginal tax cuts but that's that's not where we're at and one of the

people who shares that view with me is former Congressman Joe Walsh

We I just remember even on air a couple times getting into some really back and forth arguments

on policy but always respected his view. And he's been out there quite a bit.
