I've never been one much for superstition.

I like to think of myself as a very rational person.

In fact, I take pride in that mindset.

I'm the sort of person who doesn't really put much stock in things that they haven't seen or experienced.

At least not firsthand.

I don't believe in ghosts.

I don't believe in demons, supernatural creatures, or anything of that sort really.

The concept of faith will believe in some sort of God.

Much the same.

That's why I don't bother praying.

If it's up to the fact that there's no such thing as miracles, there's nothing out there.

And the world that can save me not from...

Watch from whatever this is.

Let me start from the beginning.

It was maybe about a week ago now.

It's hard to remember sometimes.

But with the way things start to blend together.

I was going through my junk mail this morning.

Terring open each and every envelope examining the contents and shredding anything that looked like it.

Had any sort of personal information on it.

Probably a bit excessive going that far for junk mail.

But I've always been paranoid about that sort of thing.
