I love this time of year. Mid-October, spend most of my life in Maryland. It's in the

mid-Atlantic part of the United States. The weather is crisp. Often it's sunny. It's not cold yet, leaves are beginning to change. It's just a gorgeous

season of the year. And if you, and I'm assuming you do, like walking, particularly walking

for fitness, this really is a great time to get out and put some steps

on your Fitbit or whatever step tracker you use and really maybe even push yourself a little bit more.

But that's not what this episode is about.

There's another aspect of this time of year that's special to me personally.

And this is the back story.

Dave and I got married in March of 1984, March 31st, 1984. Our honeymoon was split between

Cape May, New Jersey, and Williamsburg, Virginia. Cape May is a beach town on the Atlantic Ocean. Williamsburg,

Virginia is a restored 18th century town, about 30 minutes outside of Richmond, Virginia. I had already

been in love with Cape May, New Jersey. It's where my family vacationed when I was growing

up. Williamsburg was more of a new experience for me, and even I fell in love with Williamsburg.

And a few years after we got married, we decided to go there for a long weekend with friends.

And it was wonderful.

And so the following year, and this was in October, the following year we did it again,

this time different friends. And we continued going to Williamsburg, Virginia, for long
