He does know God's will.

And he wants to live within God's will.

Right.

But he wants his will more.

Yeah.

And he's unwilling to surrender what he wants for what God wants.

It just so turns out that we hear it why they did that are fans of him too.

Fans of how fully he lives his life, how faithful he is in setting aside his own wants

and needs for the benefits of others and how he leads his school and his classmates by example.

The kingdom of heaven will be increased because of God's work through this young man.

Of that much, I am sure.

Unfortunately, I don't think I can say the same about today's character.

If anything, what's inspiring about them is that they were allowed to live as long as they did.

God's patience really is the star of their story.

Balam is a shocking excuse for a Christian.

A false prophet, a greedy, selfish, vindictive, self-seeking, stubborn, whiny little excuse for a Christian. No, I said I was talking about

Balaam. I wouldn't say that about you. You said that only Bailam can do this. In reality, it's

something that only God can do. Only God has the power of blessing and cursing.

But here, Balem begins to entertain the idea that he has this power to.

And Balak is also aware of the power that God has.
