Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we devote

ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning you guys. It is a good morning and

deed. We are picking up with day three of our real hope devotional in the Bible app. There's

And as always I'm going to read the scripture and then Tori's going to pick up with the

Devo. Let's do it. The scripture is 2 Corinthians chapter 12 verse 9 and it says this,

but he said to me, my grace is sufficient for you for my power is made perfect in your weakness.

Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ's power may rest on me.

The devotional's titled, how do we grow weary? It says, I was speaking with a friend recently

who is not doing so well. The constant demanding juggle of life with a young family and ministry

had taken its toll. They had grown weary of life, weary of pursuing God. This faith journey and

a broken and challenging world had come to a halt. Prompted by the Spirit of God, I did my best to

simply be a listening ear and not offer any advice, a skill I wish I'd learned earlier in my marriage.

As I reflected on the conversation, the questions that lingered in my mind were,

in the pursuit of God, how does one grow weary? If God is compassionate and gracious,

slow to anger and overflowing with loyal love and faithfulness, then surely he will not allow us to

grow weary and follow him, or will he? In this fast paced, instant world we live in,

are we more susceptible to growing weary as Christ's followers? It seems like the ways of the world

are growing further away from the ways of God. In our pursuit of Him, I wonder if the things we are

unable to let go of and the principles we are unable to unlearn cause us to fall and question our

purpose. Are we holding on to too much, trying to control the outcomes and finding ourselves

out of steam? If you're growing weary, then be encouraged because when we get to the end of
