Good morning, indeed, we are rounding out with day five of our remain in me devotion of the Bible app.

As always, I'm going to read the scripture

then towards the Olympic with the Devo.

The first scripture is John chapter 15 verse 6.

And it says this, if you do not remain in me you are like a

branch that is thrown away and withers. Such branches are picked up and thrown

into the fire and burned.

The next scripture is Matthew chapter 5 verse 30.

It says this, if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away.

It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your

whole body to go into hell. The devotional is titled at Firewood. It says this

if we never choose to plug into the vine or accept Jesus as our Savior,

then the Bible tells us that we're like branches that are dead, thrown into the fire and

burned. Think about building a campfire.

You walk around the woods looking for dead dry branches

because they'll burn up easily and keep the fire going.

This is the same analogy Jesus uses when referring to people
