I want to have more of the spirit of encouragement this morning if I may um in Psalm in Psalm 103

we'll start in verse one.

It says, bless the Lord, oh, my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name.

Bless the Lord, oh, my soul, and forget not all his benefits. We do tend to forget his benefits.

Verse number three says, who forgiveth all thine iniquities?

Who healeth all thy diseases?

When a person comes to God and God forgives him, he forgives all of his inequities, everything.

The Bible says he hath removed them as far as the east is from the west.

It says he remembers them no more.

Verse number four, who rede redeemeth thy life from destruction.

If you are born again and if you have turned your life around and come to God,

then if you look back and you remember what you were and how you were and what your life was before him,

you remember that he redeemed your life from destruction,

who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies,

who satisfieth thy mouth with good things so that thy youth is renewed

like the eagles. The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

Now folks will look at that and say, well, there's a lot of oppressed today

and I don't see righteousness and judgment.
