Summary

Relationships are very important to God, yet sometimes they end. When this happens and we lose someone we love, the extreme pain from the broken relationship can break our hearts. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding the loss, God promises to heal the emotional wounds resulting from it, even if He does not restore the relationship itself. Some people can be devastated by this, because they allow themselves to be led by their emotions. A relationship that has ended has the potential to destroy our lives if we let it break our relationship with God. To overcome it and move forward, we must trust that He has something better waiting for us in our future. As long as we focus on God and our relationship with Him, we will be able to remain emotionally healthy and strong.

0:33.3	And I want to talk to you about it. It's a kind of long title, but we want to talk about the day
0:39.4	when God doesn't restore a broken relationship. What happens when God doesn't restore a broken
0:46.9	relationship? Some people are just like, I really am releasing my faith for God to restore this
0:53.6	relationship, and you know, you name it and claim it, and you pray extra hour, and you come
1:01.2	to church, and you sit on, you know, as close to the pulpit as you can, because you're really
1:08.1	believing God to restore that relationship. And I mean, you're making your confessions over.
1:13.9	I mean, you're doing everything you know to do. And there's what we got to be careful. Are we
1:19.3	believing we receive something based on our efforts and what we can do? So the question I want
1:27.8	to bring up today is what happens when that relationship is not restored? What happens when God,
1:34.0	when God doesn't restore a broken relationship? Now, a broken relationship is one of life's most
1:43.3	painful experiences, a broken relationship. What am I talking about? I'm talking about maybe a breakup
1:51.7	of some sort in relationship, boyfriend, girlfriend, fiance, maybe a breakup. It's a very painful
1:58.6	thing, a divorce. That's what I'm talking about here in broken relationship, or even a death.
2:04.8	That's a broken relationship that's caused by death. And so what happens, a breakup, a divorce,
2:11.6	or death, or any situation where you're losing someone, you love that person. And what happens,
2:22.2	you know, your heart hurts, losing someone, you love, breaks your heart. That's what I'm trying to
2:30.1	say. Losing someone, you love, breaks your heart, whether it's through a breakup, whether it's
