Amen. Amen. How you guys doing tonight?

You can go ahead and take your seat so glad you're here tonight

for the prayer meeting. If you haven't already, you might want to get

the prayer list, which is right up here.

And while you're doing that, I'll kind of give you the

rundown. We're going to start with a teaching that I want to share on prayer, about prayer,

and then when I'm done, I'm going to have pastor Laitu come up and then we're

going to open it up for all church prayer and I'll just be praying alongside with you.

For those of you that pray out loud, some don't, that's fine. In fact, we're going to

see that here at a moment, but we're going to try to remember to turn off the ACs so

we can hear you and be in agreement with you when you do pray. We'll try to, by the grace of God, I'm asking the

Lord to leave us enough time, which we've had to just petition the throne as a church together

in all church prayer. So I wanted to start off though first and talk with you

about how it is and even why it is that oftentimes God delays but then miraculously answers my prayers.

As one aptly said it, God's delays are not always God's denials. And God is never late, nor is God ever early.

And such is the case with Hannah, as we'll see, who was in good company with other godly women who suffered years of

barrenness, chief among them being Sarah. And the common denominator with all of them was

that God in his delaying was bringing them to the place of aligning

with his plan in his way and at his time for His glory.

In Hannah's case, this is so interesting.
