Bill Ellif has studied revival for decades. And he says that revival happens when God moves to do something

special, something extraordinary in his people. God is moving all the time. But there are moments in

history when he decides to open the windows of heaven and come down and make himself known,

just make himself known. And God knows this is necessary because he keeps doing it.

This is the Revive Our Hearts podcast for February 22nd, 2023. I'm Nancy DeMoss Walgamuth. It's no accident that this program is called

revive our hearts. It's been more than 50 years since the Lord first put a burden in my heart

for revival.

I can remember as a young teenager how I began to read accounts of how God had moved in a supernatural way to revive the hearts of his people, any times resulting in spiritual awakening among the lost.

You can read some of those accounts in scripture. You

read others of them in history books. And as I've read and heard more of these reports over the

years, my prayer has been for all these years, Lord, you've done it before. Would you please

do it again in our day? There have been a few times when I've had the opportunity

to get a glimpse of God moving in this extraordinary way. And I'll tell you, it's not easy to explain.

You have to be there. But throughout history, these works of God have often taken place

where and when you would least expect it.

And often, it's been among young people.

Over the past couple of weeks, we've been hearing reports of God stirring on the campus of a Christian college in Wilmore, Kentucky.

The school is named Asbury University.

You may have heard that name before because God has moved on the same campus a number of times

over the years, including in 1970. There are a number of documentaries that have been produced

about that time. But this time, as back then, the stirring started in a chapel service,
