We're so glad to have you with us, and today Rick continues in his series called Transform.

Together, we'll dive into God's Word and discover powerful principles that can truly change our

lives from the inside out. Spiritally, physically, mentally, emotionally, relationally, financially,

And now, here's Rick with the final part of a message called How God Changes Us.

Now, number four, the fourth thing you've got to do, and this is how God changes, This is transformation requires cleaning house.

Cleaning house in your mind, in your body, in your spirit.

Look at this verse, Ephesians 422.

So get rid of your old self, which made you live as you used to, that old self that was being destroyed

by its deceitful desire. Now circle the phrase, get rid of. I want to do this study on how many

times God says to get rid of something. And it's all through the Bible, things we're supposed to get

rid of. Now, depending on what you want to change, to get healthy in that area, you're going to have to get rid of some things.

For instance, if you want a healthy body, you're going to go home, have to go home, get rid of a bunch of junk food in your house.

And you already know where it is. Even the special stashes.

If you want to get healthy, you want to be transformed, you want to have more energy, more strength,

be more alert, be more aware, be more alive.

Irenaeus said the glory of God is a human being fully alive.

I want you fully alive at the end of year.

I don't want you sluggish.

Yeah.

And if you're going to do that, he says, then you're going to have to clean some house.
